Hope Against Hunger does not require proof of income, residence, or identification to receive food boxes. We have a no judgement and no questions asked policy. Our goal is to feed everyone in need regardless of their age, income, living situation, past, present, or future. We operate with the mindset of "What would Jesus do?" and serve with love, empathy, humility and integrity to each person who enters our facility.

Hope Against Hunger offers hygiene items to anyone in need. Included in these items are toothbrushes, toothpaste, hand soap, hand sanitizer, masks, baby items, toilet paper, wipes, and more. If you are in need of a specific item, please let one of our volunteers know and we will get it to you (while supplies last).
Hope Against Hunger pays careful mind to our community during the Holidays. We know that these times can be challenging to others, so we offer free hot community meals every Christmas eve and Thanksgiving for anyone who wants to come have food and fellowship with us. To-go boxes and porch drops are available upon request.
According to Feeding America, 10% of the population in Osage County, Kansas, is food insecure. This means they lack access to reliable nutrition. Hope Against Hunger believes no one should go to bed hungry, and we offer our services people of all ages.
The Kansas Census Bureau reports 15% of the Osage County, Kansas, population living under the poverty line. This makes living paycheck to paycheck a reality many American's face. Hope Against Hunger understands how difficult it is to survive in this way, and in response we do not require proof of income to receive our services.
While Hope Against Hunger may not have the ability to make these percentages go away completely, it is our goal to greatly reduce the food insecurity individuals and families are experiencing. Hope Against Hunger partners with others in the community to provide annual holiday meals, pantry packs, and a clothing and supply closet for anyone in need.
