Leadership Team

Mariah has over 8 years of nonprofit leadership experience. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a bachelors in Nonprofit Management from Colorado Christian University in 2023, and is currently pursuing her second bachelors degree in accountancy. 

Trent has been a dedicated financial specialist for five years. His experience with IT and tech specialty has been a huge blessing to us. He has been an active member of the Carbondale community for 12 years and is an incredible asset to Hope Against Hunger. 

Jerry has been an active member of the Carbondale community for 12 years. His experience in business and leadership has made him an essential part of Hope Against Hunger and he is highly valued. 

Katelyn has a masters degree in education and has board experience, fundraising planning, and marketing experience. She has been a wonderful asset to Hope Against Hunger for three years and is a valuable part of our team!

Malakhi is the man with the plan. He excels at building and cultivating relationships with agencies and partners and is an amazing campaign leader. He has been a part of the Hope Against Hunger team since the beginning of 2022. 

James "Jimmy" Willis is a website and social media specialist currently serving as a Ssgt. in the US. Air Force. His experience in leadership and technology has been a huge asset to us throughout the past 2 years. 

Erin is an amazing person inside and out. Her organizational skills help keep our closet and pantry functionable and aesthetically set. Her vision helps keep Hope Against Hunger going! 

Angie has been an essential part of Hope Against Hunger from the beginning. She has over 20 years in nonprofit experience, donor cultivation and her dedication to community meals, event planning, and record keeping has been a huge blessing to us. She is one of our founding members and we are thankful for her service! 

Sandy has been an active volunteer and essential member of Hope Against Hunger for 3 years. She has been an integral part of keeping our pantry and our closet organized and open. We are so thankful for her service.
